Ingram was a two-time All-FAVC basketball player in 1997-98 and 1998-99. In addition, Ingram was named All-Southwest District and honorable mention All-State following his senior basketball campaign at Little Miami. While earning four varsity letters on the hardwood, the prolific Panther amassed 926 points (currently eighth all-time) and 182 assists (currently eighth all-time). Following high school, Ingram was a two-year member of the varsity basketball team at Miami University Middletown from 1999-2001. A 2015 hall of fame inductee at MUM, Ingram was a two-time All-ORCC honoree, while averaging 19.8 pts/game and totaling 594 points. In 2000-01, Trent helped lead the ThunderHawks to a 24-5 record and the ORCC Championship, as well as the ORC State Championship. Following his time at MUM, Ingram enrolled at NCAA D-II Ashland University and played two seasons for the Eagles.
