Tammy Stover was a triple-threat as a Panther athlete, but her specialty was basketball. Stover is one of the best women’s basketball players in Little Miami history. Named to the 1984 UPI girls Class AA all-Ohio basketball team, Stover averaged 24.7 points per game while leading the Panthers to a 21-2 season her senior year, helping the Lady Panthers win their first-ever FAVC title. She broke every school scoring record and was the first female athlete to break the 1,000 point mark. She was also an outstanding soccer player and played third base on Little Miami’s state Final Four softball team in 1984. She went on to play basketball at Wright State University and was named a regional All-American while there.
