Kimberly Pike is one of Little Miami’s most decorated athletes. She consistently set records in both cross country and track for Little Miami, including records for the women’s cross country and for the 800 meter, 1600 meter and 3200 meter runs that still stand today. She was a four-time FAVC champion in cross country, two-time champion in the 1600 meter run in track, and a state qualifier in both sports all four years of high school. She was the 1985 Cincinnati cross country runner of the year, the 1986 county champion and the 1987 regional champion. She was named to the All-Ohio team in 1985 and ’87 and along with being named to the 1986, ’87 and ’88 all-conference teams in track. She set the FAVC record for the 1600m run as a freshman and qualified for the National Junior Olympics Teams in cross country and track. After graduation, she continued her running career at Morehead State.
