LOVELAND -- At Eastgate Lanes on Monday night, Little Miami junior Paige Szekeley set a new school record. In a two-game set against the rival Kings Knights, the second-year bowler rolled a school record 253. "It was a weird feeling," said Paige. "I felt a little nervous, but after two or three strikes in a row, I settled down and finished strong enough to get the record." The old record was set in November 2015 by Kay Rothermund against Clinton-Massie. Paige also rolled a personal-high two-game series of 400. That is 14 pins shy of the school record of 414, also owned by Rothermund. In just two seasons, Paige has become one of Little Miami's best bowlers. In that timespan, she's raised her average by more than 25 pins!
