MIDDLETOWN -- On Tuesday night at Eastern Lanes in Middletown, the Little Miami varsity boys' bowling team needed just one more team win to seal the school's first ECC team championship! After the individual games, Lebanon led by just a narrow 19-pin margin. However, in the next four baker games, the Panthers rolled games of 210, 208, 224 and 215 to overtake Lebanon 2796-2714, enroute to the schools first league title since joining The Conference at the start of the 2020-21 school year.
The Panthers now undefeated at 17-0, were led by senior Aaron Horak. Horak rolled games of 227 and 250, for a personal season-high series of 477. Junior Brandon Roy complemented Horak with strong 234 game.
On the girls side the action, Lebanon topped the Lady Panthers 2257-1442. Sophomore Aubrey Olekas led Little Miami for the second consecutive match with a 150 game, and two-game series of 246. Freshman Aubrey Ferrell added a 127.
Wednesday afternoon in their home facility at Eastgate Lanes, the Panthers will try and stay unbeaten as they once again face rival Lebanon at 3:30 PM! Let's go cats!
