MORROW -- Senior guard Connor Istnick (nine points) and sophomore guard Cade Wojnicz (nine points) led all scorers as Little Miami defeated Anderson 50-27 on Friday night in the PAC at LMHS. The victory pushes the Panthers to 11-3 overall this season and 6-2 in league play. Little Miami currently resides at No. 3 in The Conference, however, The Cats travel across the river to Kings (9-3, 7-2 ECC) on Tuesday night as Little Miami looks to avenge their
Game 3 setback (66-59) to the Knights. Little Miami will count on strong post-play from senior Carter Sellars and Case Miller, along with crisp shooting from guards Ian Arthur, Jackson Reynolds, and Connor Istnick. There is no doubt, that the atmosphere in the KHS Gym will be intense, and Cade Wojnicz and Zach Stevens will be counted on for valuable minutes too. The Knights are led by senior guard Tommy Clark who is currently No. 3 in the ECC with 17.5 PPG, and scored 24 points in the season's first matchup between these two rivals on Dec. 13 at LMHS. However, the unknown in tomorrow's matchup is the status and return of Knights' senior guard Myles Baker. Baker has missed three of the last four games for Kings and led all scorers with 28 points in their Dec. 13 trip into Morrow.
