MAINEVILLE -- Entering the 2024-25 school year, the Little Miami Panthers will have a home court advantage as comfortable as any in prep athletics. This summer, Little Miami Schools partnered with top notch local vendors to design and fabricate a vibrant gymnasium facility that will certainly extract maximum effort and pride from future Panthers when hosting home games within the friendly confines of the Panther Athletic Center at Little Miami High School. A project a year in the making, the collaborative effort of Central Office leadership, building administration, and Panther coaches was seamlessly executed from initial vision until final completion this week. The most notable upgrades are the installation of new state of the art bleachers and the refinishing of the competitive maple floor which rivals that of collegiate and professional sports. And one notable change that might not be seen at first, is the new rise and run of the new bleachers which was adjusted to accommodate for easier foot-traffic logistics when entering and exiting the facility, which should give everyone from fans, players, officials and coaches a more enjoyable experience at the PAC.
Additionally, a special THANK YOU is extended to Mr. Mike Sauer and Skyline River's Bend! Little Miami Schools and Skyline River's Bend agreed to continue a decade-long partnership another 10 years. To celebrate the continued partnership, Little Miami Athletics will join Skyline River's Bend when they host a Skyline Chili Crossdown Showdown Tailgate on Monday, October 7 at 6 PM prior to the Panthers' Week 8 rivalry football matchup with Loveland.
And for those seeking to get a first-hand look at the new facility upgrades, the Little Miami volleyball team will open their season and the upgraded facility on Monday, August 19 when they host nonconference rival Lakota West at 7 PM. Vendors that helped make this project a reality were
