Kickoff: 7 p.m. Eastern.
Setting the scene: This Friday night, the Loveland Tigers (2-5, 2-4 ECC) will visit Morrow, where they'll face a hungry Little Miami Panthers (1-6, 1-5 ECC) varsity football team on Mercy Health Youth Night. This week's ECC rivalry matchup is featured as a headliner in the popular Skyline Chili Crosstown Showdown series.
Little Miami first-year head coach Arryn Chenault logged his first career victory in Week 4 over Walnut Hills, but since then, the Panthers have dropped three straight after falling 38-0 to Kings last week in Kings Mills.
As for the visitors, the Loveland Tigers enter Friday's game in a late-season situation similar to the Panthers. The Tigers are led by first-year head coach Brian Damewood who started the 2024 campaign at 0-4. However, Loveland knocked off Turpin and Walnut Hills in Weeks 5 and 6 before falling to visiting Winton Woods 49-0 last week.
Weather: Friday's weather forecast looks nearly perfect for fall high school football! A daytime high of 78 will begin to taper off as the sun sets, so remember to pack a jacket for the second half. No precipitation is expected.
