MORROW -- Little Miami put together a dominant performance Friday night, rolling past Walnut Hills, 42-7, in a game that carried extra meaning as the Panthers celebrated Military and First Responders Night. Little Miami controlled the game from the outset, setting the tone on both sides of the football and steadily pulling away from the Eagles to lead 35-0 at the half. The Panthers' offense found the end zone six times, while the defense limited Walnut Hills to just seven points. The victory also marked a milestone for head coach Nate Mahon, who earned his 70th career victory. A milestone victory on a milestone night, as Mahon joined the 70-win club with Little Miami's 42-7 triumph over Walnut Hills. With the community on hand to recognize the men and women who serve their country and protect their communities, the Panthers delivered a performance fitting of the occasion.
