    Setting the scene: It's hard to believe, but it's already Week 10 of the 2024 OHSAA football regular season, and this Friday the Little Miami Panthers welcome ECC foe West Clermont into LMHS Panther Stadium on football, cheer and marching band's Senior Night.
    The Basics: Little Miami enters Week 10 coming off a 42-7 Week 9 setback at Milford last week, and hopes to put the breaks on 5-game skid against the visiting Wolves. West Clermont has won four of their last five contests, and seeks their first 7-win regular season since 2017. 2024 will also be their first season above .500 since 2019. Last week, WCHS hosted Loveland and hung on 21-17 to beat the Tigers on their Senior Night.
    Inside the Numbers: The Wolves boast the ECC's No. 1 ranked rushing offense in the in 2024, and they're led by junior RB Landon Young who is also ranked No. 1 in the ECC with 1223 rushing yards. Young is more than 300 yards ahead of Kings' Carson Lindholm. This week, Little Miami will need to slow West Clermont's ground game and reduce their control of the game clock. And on defense, the Panthers must expose the Wolves eighth ranked defense by sustaining drives and capitalizing on first down to reduce extended third down situations.
