Bowling: Senior Hannah Weigle rolls into the District Championship; named ECC Bowler of the Year!

FAIRFIELD — Little Miami senior bowling standout Hannah Weigle is heading back to the district stage. Weigle qualified for the OHSAA District Championships this Thursday at Beaver-Vu Bowl, advancing as the lone Panther into Round 2 of the postseason. She delivered a strong sectional performance, opening with a 158 in Game 1 before firing the daily high of 234 in Game 2. Weigle capped her day with a 223, punching her ticket to Beavercreek for the second consecutive season.

Just one week earlier, competing at Rollhouse Fairfield Lanes, Weigle posted games of 169, 158, and 187 for a 514 series. That performance helped secure her recognition as the ECC Bowler of the Year. A four-time ECC award winner, Weigle earned second-team honors as a freshman and has since collected three straight First-Team All-ECC selections — a testament to her consistency and growth throughout her high school career.

"We're very proud of all Hannah has accomplished during her career at Little Miami," said head coach Ashley Brown. "She is certainly deserving of all-conference status, and we're excited to continue supporting her during the OHSAA postseason journey." Weigle's success doesn't stop at the high school level. On November 12, she signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and bowling career at the University of Indianapolis, where she will compete for the Lady Greyhounds next season.

With momentum on her side and another district appearance ahead, Weigle's high school career is rolling toward an exciting finish — and an even brighter future beyond it.
