Military & First Responders Night: Panthers and Warriors both striving to find their footing in Week 4

     Kickoff: 7 p.m. Eastern.
Setting the Scene: After three weeks of OHSAA regular season action, the Little Miami Panthers (0-3, 0-2 ECC) varsity football team now turn their attention to Warren County rival and Eastern Cincinnati Conference foe the Lebanon Warriors (1-2, 0-2 ECC). Last week, Little Miami traveled to Turpin and fell to the host Spartans 42-20 in a game that generated nearly 900 yards of production through the air. Little Miami junior WR Mitchell Lyons led the Panthers' offensive effort as he reeled in a game-high 11 receptions for 197 yards (17.9 avg.). Trailing closely behind Lyons, was Panthers senior WR Elisha Jones who chipped in seven receptions for a career-high 131 receiving yards (18.7 avg.). In total, Little Miami generated 494 yards of total offense against Turpin, and 437 of those came through the air. Junior QB Case Miller led the effort as he was 19-for-28 for 352 passing, while also adding two TD runs of 2 and 3-yards, respectively. Miller left the game early with an injury and was replaced by junior Luke Brewsaugh who was 7-for-10 with one TD pass to senior TJ Blackburn.
ECC Top 3: Junior WR Mitchell Lyons is ranked No. 3 in The Conference with 255 receiving yards. Junior LB Rhys Jones is tied at No. 1 with Loveland's Max Carver with 28 total tackles in 2023. Junior DB Cody Neltner trails Jones and Carver in third by just a single tackle with 27 stops.
Weather Prediction: Expect a daytime high of 78 degrees with a 20-percent chance of precipitation.
Additional Game Activities: The U.S. Army will display two combat vehicles within the stadium for fans to take pictures with during the game. Also, they'll toss t-shirts into the stands, and have a pull-up bar contest for those looking to test their strength. The stadium will be outfitted with American Flags as we traditionally display during this special game each season, and local Military and First Responders will be honored publicly in pregame.
Dog Tags: A QR Code will be issued where every Little Miami student has the ability to have their very own dog tags made. By utilizing the QR we send out, please follow the directions to enter your information for pick up at the game. Also, there will be a station for in-person submission and production on Friday night.
LMTA Tailgate: The LMTA and LMHS Staff Rat Pack will be hosting their annual tailgate picnic on Friday starting at 5:30 p.m. near the stadium's Main Entrance. All District teachers and employees are invited to bring a covered dish, side, desert or appetizer to share. Drinks will be provided. A link to sign up can be found HERE!
