Ron Maupin earned his B.S. in secondary education from Miami University in 1998 and his master in education administration from the University of Dayton in 2005. He has been a social studies teacher at Little Miami High School since 2000. He has served as the head coach of the Little Miami High School academic team since 2009. As head coach, his teams have won six Southwest Ohio Conference (SWOC) titles (2013-2015, 2017-2019) and he has been named SWOC Coach of the Year four times (2013-2015, 2019). Prior to being head coach, he served as the Little Miami assistant coach from 2001-2009. He also hosts the annual Little Miami Academic Challenge.
