Mike Frith

Mike Frith is entering his second season as the head coach of the girls’ varsity tennis team at LMHS in 2021. In total, Frith has taught for 26 years in the Little Miami School District as a health and physical education teacher, and has coached over 30 seasons of various sports throughout his career. Mike is a 1987 Little Miami graduate, a 1992 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. He also obtained a master’s degree from Marygrove College in Detroit, Michigan. Also, his son Grant, graduated from Little Miami in 2018 and is currently a member of the Ohio National Guard and works and lives in Columbus, Ohio.

Following the 2024 season, the LMHS Lady Panthers varsity tennis team finished the fall season at 7-10 overall and 1-7 in The Conference. In the rugged ECC, Little Miami knocked off rival West Clermont this season, and in nonconference play the Lady Panthers had strong wins over Talawanda, Fairfield, Western Brown, Colerain, Maderia and McNick. The Lady Panthers were led by this season by senior Jasmine Denicola in first singles plays and she was named honorable mention All-ECC following competition. Strong efforts and play were also turned in by Juliette Wilkerson (second singles), Macala Clark (third singles), Riley Reis and Hannah Weigle (first doubles), along with Rylee Melton and Ava Hamm (second doubles).
