Brock Wysong enters his first season as head coach of the Little Miami High School varsity boys golf program in 2026.
A native of Bradford, Ohio, Wysong was a three-sport student-athlete, competing in football, basketball, and track during his time as a Railroader. Following high school, he attended the University of Toledo before beginning a career in education that has included stops at Madison-Plains Local Schools, Dublin Coffman High School, Franklin City Schools, and Little Miami Local Schools. While at Dublin Coffman, Wysong also served as a golf coach, which will provide valuable experience to the Panthers' program.
Wysong's coaching philosophy emphasizes strong swing fundamentals, course management, and the use of statistical analysis to help golfers better understand their performance. By combining sound mechanics with data-driven decision-making, he works to develop confident, aggressive players who maximize their strengths on every course they play.
In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Wysong is one of Little Miami High School's most active student leaders. He has helped lead student government, organized homecoming activities and the parade, coordinated pep rallies, and supported numerous other initiatives that enhance the overall Panther experience. His commitment to building relationships and creating meaningful opportunities for students extends well beyond the classroom and the golf course.
Wysong made an immediate impact in his first season, quickly organizing tryouts, building the varsity roster, and guiding the Panthers into the 2026 Eastern Cincinnati Conference Preseason Invitational. Little Miami opened the season with a fifth-place finish, while senior Austin Nicholas earned a share of medalist honors in the 61-player field.
When he's away from school, Wysong enjoys playing Majestic Springs Golf Club near Wilmington and is a loyal Callaway golfer. His passion for teaching, coaching, and serving students continues to shape the future of Little Miami boys golf.
