MORROW — Little Miami High School hosted its annual cross country invitational Saturday, Sept. 12, but the weather didn't cooperate. Conditions made the event look more like a Tough Mudder than a cross country meet and slowed the field considerably. On the boys' side, senior Ryne Reynolds captured the individual title in 15:40.3, followed by junior Ian Patrick in second at 15:57. Reynolds continues to hold Ohio's top time to date by more than 10 seconds after posting a 15:03.5 at the Buckeye Running Sunrise Invitational at Oeder Lake in Morrow on Aug. 29. As a team, Sycamore won the Little Miami invitational with 40 points, while Little Miami finished second with 84.

On the girls' side, junior Ellie Meade placed second in 20:04.6, finishing behind St. Ursula's Caroline Josshua, who won in 19:52.3. Sycamore also captured the girls' team title with 46 points. Little Miami finished sixth with 154 points.
