KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. — The Little Miami Lady Panthers made the most of a Saturday afternoon trip to historic Hoosier Gymnasium, rolling past Clermont Northeastern 54–26 in a nonconference matchup.

Hoosier Gym, famously featured in the 1986 film Hoosiers, served as the backdrop for the contest. The movie, starring Gene Hackman, Barbara Hershey, and Dennis Hopper, chronicled a small-town Indiana high school's underdog run to a state championship and was inspired by the real-life 1954 Milan High School team—an enduring symbol of Indiana's deep basketball tradition.

With the win, Little Miami improved to 7–8 overall and 4–6 in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference, now a few games beyond the halfway point of the 2025–26 season.

The Lady Panthers continue to be led by standout sophomore forward Avery Green, who ranks among the ECC's statistical leaders. Green currently sits fifth in the conference in scoring at 16.2 points per game, fourth in rebounding at 7.8 per contest, and fourth in blocked shots at 1.1 per game.

Little Miami returns to action tonight as it travels to Newtown to face Turpin High School (2–13, 0–9 ECC). The matchup marks the second game of a five-game road trip as the Lady Panthers make their final push toward the start of the OHSAA postseason.
