MORROW -- With less than six minutes remaining in the game in a nonconference matchup with undefeated Springboro (6-1-1) on Monday night, Little Miami junior Mallory Holtkamp and senior Maddie Meadows both netted goals to lead the host Panthers in a 2-1 victory over one of the areas top ranked teams. Senior goalkeeper Emma Hartman also added 13 saves in the monumental team victory. "We battled all game for field position and momentum," said first-year head coach Dann Marketos. "They struck first with a goal late in the game, and we rapidly responded with two goals of our own. Tonight is proof, when we continue to persevere and execute, we can play with anyone." The Lady Panthers don't have long to enjoy Monday night's upset win, as they're back in action Tuesday night at LMHS when they host ECC rival Turpin (3-5-0, 0-2-1 ECC) at 5 and 7 PM.
