Prior to the 2020-21 season, Brian Lawhon joins Little Miami from Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy where he has been head coach since 2017. He was named District 16 Coach of the Year last season after winning a district championship at CHCA for the first time in school history. 

Lawhon is a Little Miami resident and has nearly 20 years of coaching experience both at the high school and college level. At CHCA, he amassed a 55-16 record over three seasons and produced two Miami Valley Conference players of the year. Prior to coaching at CHCA, he coached at Kennesaw State University in Georgia and Wilmington College. Lawhon was part of the 1996-1997 back-to-back Greater Miami Conference championship teams at Sycamore High School and was a four year starter for Northern Kentucky University. He set three school records for the Norse, including the most 3-point field goals in a game (11-16) and highest field goal percentage in a game (10-10). He scored over 1000 points and was part of the Sweet 16 team in 2001.
